Commissioning a painting is an exciting and unique experience. Please contact me by phone or email anytime and I will be happy to advise and answer any questions you might have.

Portrait process
Initially, I like to meet the people I paint to gain an understanding of their character and personality. This is relaxed and informal and is always fun, especially with child portraits. During this meeting I take numerous photographs and from these stills there is always one that represents the sitter best. Then I can start on the painting. Sometimes, when possible, I work from life over several sittings.

Don’t worry! If it is not possible to meet with the sitter beforehand, I am happy to work from a photograph you supply.

All paintings are presented in a beautiful mount that complements the image best.
